<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We've just published a new update for myPractice. &nbsp;Version 3.1.1.0 can be obtained by clicking the 'Check for Updates' link within myPractice, or 'Check for Updates' in the Windows Start Menu &gt; Programs &gt; myPractice folder.</p>
<p>We have released several updates in the past few weeks, adding functionality and correcting issues as they are raised and encourage all users to udpate as soon as possible.</p>

<div><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000"><p class="c17"><img src="/themes/client_default/esupport.gif" /></p><h3 class="c18">September Newsletter</h3><h4 class="c20">In This Issue:<br />Support Options<br />Contact Details Update<br />SMS Global Change<br />Version 2.21.11.4 Released<br />Microsoft Office<br />Conference Exhibitions<br /><span class="c19">Closed Monday 5th October 2009 - Labour Day Public Holiday<br /></span></h4><span class="c19"></span> <h3 class="c18"><br /><span class="c19"></span></h3><h3 class="c18"><span class="c19">Support Options</span></h3>We've had a large influx of new users over the past few months and we thought it worthwhile to cover off the available Support Options and when they are applicable.<br /><br />1 - <span style="font-weight: bold;">Email Support</span> - Email is our preferred method of Support for anything that is not urgent in nature.  We ask everyone to email non-urgent issues so that we can keep both the phone and Remote Support channels free for those that may have urgent issues.    If you have an urgent issue, please use those other channels to contact us, as your email may not be attended to immediately if we have other tasks going. <br /><br />We attempt to get back to those that email ASAP and in general it's only a few hours turnaround, and we definitely reply within 24hours of receiving an email.<br /><br />2 - <span style="font-weight: bold;">Remote Support</span> via the LogMeInRescue Remote Support Client.  This should be used when there is an urgent issue that needs immediate attention.  Remote Support is available from 9am-5pm Australian Eastern Time, Monday to Friday (exc. Public Holidays)  Remote Support can take place at other times if pre-arranged.<br /><br />3 - <span style="font-weight: bold;">Phone Support</span> - Our Support line should only be used for urgent issues and only if you are unable to connect via the Remote Support Client.  If we are on other calls or on a Remote Support session it is likely you will be directed to voicemail.  Please leave us your name and number and we will phone you back as soon as we can, usually within a few minutes.<br /><br />We ask our Customers to respect these Support options for the good of all other users and to assist us in providing the best service we can.<br /><br />In addition to these support channels, we are working to improve our Help files and also our Online Knowledgebase at http://support.mypractice.net.au.<br /></font><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000"><br /><br /></font><font><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000"><h3 class="c18"><span class="c19">Contact Details Update<br /></span></h3></font></font><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000">Australia<br />Sydney - +61 2 8011 4982<br />Melbourne - +61 3 9016 4312<br />Brisbane - +61 7 3102 4316<br />Email - support@mypractice.net.au<br /><br />New Zealand<br />Auckland +64 9 889 0902 <br />Email - support@mypracticesoftware.co.nz<br /><br />Please note that our old Sydney phone number 02 8011 4312 is no longer in use.<br /><br /><br /></font><font><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000"><h3 class="c18"><span class="c19">SMS Global Change</span></h3></font></font><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000"><br />Version 2.21.11 handles a change with SMS Global.  There is now no need to change the settings in your SMS Global Account when sending from myPractice if you wish to switch between getting replies to email or a mobile phone number.  Simply adjust the reminders setting in the Options screen in myPractice to designate where your replies should go.<br />  <br /><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">No SMS Replies accepted -</span> No  replies will come back to you</span>.<br /><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Send SMS Replies to Registered Email Address -</span> Email replies go to the email address you have registered on your SMS Global Account</span>. <br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Send SMS Replies to the Reply Number listed above - </span><span style="font-style: italic;">SMS Replies will go to the number designated in the Sender ID field in myPractice. <br />Please ensure you put your Reply number in full international format - e.g. 0414 333 444 becomes 61414333444 (do not include a &quot;+&quot; sign at the beginning of the number). <br />Note: If you place your Practice's name in the SenderID field (e.g. Sydney Clinic.), this is what the recipient will see, but you will not receive any replies - i.e. It must be a valid mobile phone number to get replies.</span><br /><br /><img src="/themes/client_default/ReminderOptions.png" /><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">*Important note for those using 'Reply 2 Email' with SMS Global.</span>  Several users have reported that they have not received replies to their email address.  In each case the problem was either -<br /><br />a) replies were going into a 'Junk' or 'Spam' folder on the users computer or <br />b) the email address set for replies on the SMS Global account was incorrect.<br /><br />Please check both these things before contacting SMS Global or us.<br /><br /></font><font><font><font><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000"><h3 class="c18"><span class="c19">Version 2.21.11.4 Released<br /></span></h3></font></font></font></font><font face="Arial" size="2" color="#000000">Version 2.21.11.4 is now available for download and includes the new features and bug fixes listed below the upgrade instructions.<span class="c19"><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;">Upgrade Instructions: PLEASE READ BEFORE UPDATING.</span><br /></span></font><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="2"></font><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="2"><span style="font-weight: normal;"><h4 style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">All myPractice customers on a current software assurance plan are eligible for this upgrade.</span><br /><font size="2"><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"></span></span></font></h4><h4 style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font size="2"><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">For All Users:</span> All users (Network, Solo and Live) who are currently on version <span style="font-weight: bold;">2.21.0</span> and above can update by simply <a href="http://mypracticev2.s3.amazonaws.com/21/MP_Setup.exe" title="myPractice Setup file">downloading this file</a> and running the installer. Ensure myPractice is closed before attempting to upgrade. Open Invoices can have additional Appointment Items added to them and have basically been introduced for Invoicing Third Party billers* such as Insurance Companies where it is desirable to bill them for all Client Appointments on one Invoice. (*Can also be used for Clients)<br /><br />New - 'Create Invoice' from the Appointment Book now prompts the user to choose whether to Invoice the Client or a Third Party.
